New Flipflops from Old Shorts

Cuties cute shorts got a hole in them. So sad.
Instead of tossing them, I remembered reading about this trick, and so I cut them into approximately 1 inch by 6 inch strips with pinking shears.


Then I tied four strips together with a knot in the middle and used a fifth strip to tie them on to the flipflops, just left of the center. I trimmed off the ends to make the bows shorter.
Cutie was thrilled with the new look of her $2.00 flipflops. So fun.
