Chandelier Night Light

This old chandelier is hanging in the girls' room next to their bunk bed. It was brass with electrical wiring that wasn't working when I found it in my parents' garage.

I removed all the old wiring and spray-painted it white. Then I bought flameless tea lights. They run on a battery, don't get hot, and they cast just enough light to help the girls feel warm and cozy as they drift into dreamland.

Sleep tight, Little Ones.

LOVE that idea, and I bet it's adorable in their room... but I have to admit, the blog pic reminds me of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at D-Land! :) (no offense!)

What a great idea! How often do you have to replace batteries?

The batteries last for 100 hours. I turn them on when they go to sleep and then turn then off when I got to sleep a couple hours later.
You can often find old chandeliers at thrift stores and garage sales or ebay.
