We made these sweet bracelets from paper supplies I had on hand and an empty toilet paper roll.
I gathered our scissors, glue sticks and other odds and ends, not sure exactly what they would want to use. They had each received a hole punch with their initial from Grandma Gale last Christmas, so I got those out too. I cut the toilet paper roll down the length and then cut two horizontal strips about 2 inches wide. They put glue all over the top side of the cardboard and glued on the striped paper.
After their paper-cutting and letter-punching frenzy, they each stuck a circle sticker onto their band and glued their initial in the middle.
Now for the best part. I had these diamond jewel stickers and they went crazy with them. I wasn't expecting them to use so many, but hey, when you're four you're not afraid of a little bling.
I tied the back with a short piece of raffia threaded through a hole punch on each end.
Don't we look cute? I thought these could be helpful at an amusement park. I could write my cell phone # inside the paper bracelet. In case one of them got lost, they could show the phone number to a park employee. Fun and functional!

AMAZING! What an great idea! They look fabulous. I think your girls may give Lisa a run for her money! :)
Very cute. Where do you come up with all of these ideas? You always have such amazing crafts to do with your kids.
These are wonderful! I love seeing all your great ideas...this would be a terrific pre-field trip craft for teachers to do with students (maybe based on a theme) with safety info on part of outside, too! Thanks for such a fun blog to read...
super cute!!!
love it!!!
Cute!! Reminds me of the Wonder Woman costume I had when I was their age. My dad made me little silver cuff bracelets out of real metal and my mom helped me put stars on them. Loved those!!
I LOVE this idea! Madeline is into jewelry and this is a great project for her.....we better use up some toilet paper so we can do this. :)
I also like the idea of using it at an amusement park. Great idea!

adorable!
What a great idea! I stumbled upon your blog from my friend Beth who has a link to Lisa's blog - and then I clicked on your blog. You are the most creative mother I know! I am super impressed and inspired. I made the bracelets today as a trial run to do with my nieces because I have one son. I was trying to think how to make them like "superman" cuffs or something :) Thanks for the ideas! God Bless - Karen
