Felt Board and Shapes

Remember flannel graphs from Sunday School? I can still picture our teacher "sticking" felt cut-outs of the disciples or the burning bush onto a felt board. Brilliant.
After seeing the idea on Crafty Crow, I made a version of this for the girls by gluing a piece of black felt to an 8x10" canvas and then cutting out random shapes of all sizes. The felt was about 20 cents for 11x14" rectangle and the canvas boards were about $1.00 each. So the entire project was about $4.00. Not bad!
I also used sticky felt pad circles (from the hardware aisle) on the back of googley eyes.

They love it! It's different every time, great for the car and so easy to clean up!
