Over the years of teaching, I’ve noticed a parent will occasionally tuck a napkin-note into their child’s lunch. I’ve seen the child’s face light up when they find it and read it and then tuck it away.
Such a sweet way to remind them you're thinking of them.

We put the notes in the lunch boxes too! Actually, I think hubby enjoys the notes the most...the kids like to write him notes for work...and place them in his cooler! So fun!
My sister checked out your blog today...she loves all your ideas!
My husband and I love doing this with the girls. We also like to add a chocolate kiss too so that they get a kiss from us at lunch. Thye love getting to see what the note says at lunch. I might start making mine a little more colorful like your are.
so cute, thoughtful and artistic!!
Very cute! Another fun thing, particularly for boys, is coming up with a note in "code". I used to do this with Abe. The simple way is with numbers representing the letters in the alphabet.
Also, Syd loves the girl's lunchbox backpacks. Where did you get them?
That picture of them heading out the door is just darling! Little pants with ruffles, carrying their packs - so cute!
LOL we have done that for years. Our notes get a little "interesting" now that they are older. I even blogged about it back in June.
