Halloween Candy Turkey Sculpture

We've got a whole lot of candy on our hands. And I bet you do, too.

We spread it all out, opened up a bunch of it and got creative with some sculptures.
Here's our candy turkey. Three large peanut butter cups stacked up make the chubby body. The tail feathers are mini Tootsie Pops poked through the layers of peanut butter cups. A candy corn beak is tucked between two mini peanut butter cups. And M&Ms make up the eyes and feet.

Pretty lovable, huh?

I'm also going to set aside a bunch of candy for Christmas gingerbread houses. Less to eat now, and less to buy in December.

The candy turkey is lovely, a good way to move on to the next celebrations too.

I want to eat those Reeces peanut butter cups. They are my favorite!

That is such a great idea! I love making thigs with the candy instead of eating it! Perhaps we could use glue to attach them all so that they are inedible. :) The thought of my kids eating all of this candy is making me sick
