Popsicle Stick Heart Magnets

We had a lot of fun painting these popsicle stick hearts.
First, I cut the ends of the popsicle stick off at at angle. This takes a strong pair of nippers.

Then I overlapped the two pieces and glued them together.
The girls got to work painting. First they painted them solid colors. After the paint dried, we went back and painted white polka dots using a lollipop stick.
I glued a magnet on the back.
And now our fridge is happy!
