There are lots of great ideas for helping children get things done. Here is one simple chart I made to help our girls understand the basic expectations we have for them.
We'll put a sticker or star next to each item they complete each day.
It's not meant to be an ongoing system, just a training tool for a week or two, until Cutie and Sweetie get the hang of the routine without having to be constantly reminded.
Here's a blank version, if you want to print it and fill in the boxes with the items you're working on with your little darlings.

Ahhh, chore charts bring back memories. My mom would re-create them every few months. Once we even had a spinner chart, the only rule was you couldn't do the same chart for more than three days in a row.
I wanted to let you know that I made pumpkin muffins-DEEElish. Thanks, I can't wait to see what you have in store for the holidays.
Hey, I just did a chore chart (similar to yours but without the cute pixs)for my four year old last week. It's up on the fridge... It works!!! Sometimes its the simplest(is that spelled right?) of things, like chore charts that make it all come together. Thanks for sharing!!!
PS my daughter gets a reward after she's earned four stickers... i.e time w/ mommy, computer time, ice cream (for me and her).
btw, I just ADORE your fabulous blog & ideas!!! I'm spreading the word.
These chore charts are great! Chores are much more fun when you have charts like this.
Cool! Thanks for these!
so cute--love the graphics!!
I've found that the virtual chore chart works for me. I use a site called Handipoints chore charts to make printables and it's really been fun so far!
I'm going to link this on an upcoming blog post. Thanks for the great info! I love it.
