A Mother for Choco by Keiko Kasza

This book, A Mother for Choco, has been on my Amazon wish list for some time, and we just found it used at the library bookstore for 50 cents. Score!

It's a sweet, simple story about a little yellow bird who is looking for a mommy to love and care for him. And he finds just the perfect one!
We've been reading this book together each night before bed. The loving message really resonates with both the girls and me, as we are continuing this adventure of loving each other and learning to be a family.

I am new to reading your blog and had no idea that your precious girls are gifts through adoption (all children are gifts no matter how they come to us). I am so happy for your family. What lucky girls to have such a loving mother (and family) to be in...and how lucky you are to have such sweet girls. I'm glad you know and cherish what a gift they are. It makes me sad when so many take their children forgranted. My children are gifts through the struggle of infertility and treatments. I've been considering adoption and praying on it as well. I'm just sort of scared to ask my husband right now as we have 4 children...I deeply desire more and adoption seems like the right choice right now.

We love this book! I just read it to O before she went to sleep for her nap. I also paid only 50 cents for it :)

We love this book - in fact, it was so well read that we own multiple copies. The original was looking quite shabby!

I found out about this book at our adoptive parenting class. It is such a good story. Our adoption was final on October 27.

Thanks for the recommendation!

We are thinking and praying about adoption right now.

I would love any input you may have as we are asking a lot of questions right now.

We would just love a baby or child that needs our family.
