Paper Cornucopia of Thanks

This sweet paper cornucopia is the perfect way to get everybody at the table sharing their thankfulness.

Materials:
8 inch square sheet of paper
double-sided tape
contrasting color of paper for decorative flower
scissors
popsicle sticks (same # as guests coming for dinner)
decorative punch

I rolled the square sheet of paper into a cone, taping the open edge to the side of the cone. Then I cut out a flower, curled the petals inward around a pencil, and taped it onto the top of the cone.

I put popsicle sticks inside, but strips of paper would work just as well for guests to write down and share their thankful thoughts. I glued a small flower punch-out to the end of each stick.
There is so much to be thankful for. I can't wait to do this with my family.
Happy Thanksgiving!

This cornucopia is very cute. We write the things we are thankful on slips during November and put them in a basket but I like this cornucopia. Thanks again for sharing. I am always inspired by your fun ideas!

I've been lurking for quite some time and have enjoyed sharing your ideas with my girls...most recently, the pumpkin spice muffins have been a big hit! Anyway, this idea reminded me of a tradition my family has at Thanksgiving. We each write down 3 things we're thankful for and 3 things we wish for on a slip of paper and put them all in a basket. After dinner, we all gather and pass the basket around the room, each person taking a paper to read aloud. Then we try and guess who wrote it! It's such a nice way to share our blessings and is such fun to try and guess who's who!
