Heart-shaped pancakes

I picked up a couple heart-shaped cookie cutters at the store. We'll use them to make cookies for Valentine's day, but they're also great for cutting heart shapes out of pancakes. (With chocolate chips, of course.) I like to serve both the shape and the pancake with the shape cut out of it.

I thought it might be cute to make a whole lunch in heart shapes on Valentines Day. I've seen heart-shaped crackers, then I would add heart-shaped cheese + fruit + sandwiches. And maybe find a heart-shaped cup for their milk.

Can you feel the love?

So cute! I made heart pancakes on Saturday but I did not use a cookie cutter and some of them looked like blobs!

Hey Alisa,
Do you have a Trader Joe's near your house?
I love to buy their Multigrain Pancake mix and then add chocolate chips to the recipe on the box.
I like to add a mashed up banana, too, but one of my girls tries to pick out all the banana pulp.
Not pretty.
