Homemade Valentines

We made simple valentines for the girls' class today. We decorated the outside of large square envelopes with paper and stickers and then put a little notepad and pencil inside each one. Lastly, the girls wrote each student's name as I spelled them.
So, so sweet.

Adorable! I host a valentine making party each year for some art friends of mine. They all have to make valentines at home to exchange with each guest, and then I have tons of supplies here and that day we make more. This year there are 27 coming and so they have to make 30 valentines (3 are out of town, but participating). I will pass on your lovely little sample for some who are wondering what to do! Each year the guest list seems to grow. But it's a fun day!

Those are great!
And they would be something neat to do for grandparents and other family as well!

What fun. There are so many amazing supplies out there. It would be fun to see what people come up with.

I will post some pix on my blog after my valentine-making day. I do have some on there from last year (valentine treasures - 2/3/08). I will try to email it to you or maybe if you have a minute (haha) you can take a peek.
