Doctor De Soto by William Steig

These are our sweet friends, Danielle and Jason, reading another one of our favorite books to the girls, Doctor De Soto.

Doctor De Soto is a kind-hearted mouse and an excellent dentist. He has a sign in front of his office explaining that he does not accept patients like cats and other animals that could potentially be dangerous to mice. Yet, out of sympathy, he and his wife agree to treat a wily fox with a severe toothache. In this clever, humorous tale, the mice must find a way to outfox the fox.
