Sheep in a Jeep by Nancy Shaw

We love this simple book full of witty rhymes.

"Oh, dear!
The driver sheep forgets to steer.

Jeep in a heap.
Sheep weep.

Sheep sweep the heap.

Jeep for sale - cheap."

What a great book to read again and again.

If your girls love a good ryhming book you should check out "Hand Hand Fingers Thumb". This book has been around forever! My mom read it to me when I was little. It is really catchy and so much fun to read to my kiddo's.

One of my favorite board books. Ever. I can recite it in my sleep.

also one of my favorites to work on /sh/ sounds.

For some reason, I really am not all that into the other Nancy Shaw books. I've tried to love them but just can't. This one though will always have my heart.

When my oldest was a beginning reader we LOVED the Sheep series. Got as many of them as we could find -- so funny, and and rhymes and alliteration were so fun for him. Thanks for reminding me of those happy memories :-)
