When Things Get Ugly

It's not always sunshine and laughter in The Land of Flipflops and Applesauce.

This is the spontaneous artwork my girl created after she was sent to her room for hitting her sister.

Fortunately, a while later I noticed that she had replaced the frown with a smile.

Hilarious! My daughter goes to her room to write nasty things in her journal. She is the wonderful age of 13 :) OH Yes, girls are a different breed from girls, the ups and downs really keep you on your feet. Your day is coming soon! Two teenage girls at once. Good Luck my friend :)

I'd love to see it, but it's no showing up? There is just an x in the corner...?

Oh that is too funny! Things get ugly no matter how much applesauce there is and how many flipflops there are, don't they? Thanks for the smile and for letting us know that you're a real Mom like the rest of us! On a side note, I couldn't help but notice the cute buckets (complete with ribbon) attached to the white board that shoot you right back up to Super Mom status!

too funny. I teach first grade and it is amazing how fast kids can turn things around....turning a frown into a smile. it's a very redeeming quality - one I think we all need to have now and then.

Well, at least she's expressing her anger in a totally appropriate way! You've taught her well, mama! ;)
