The weather is warming up a bit, so I dug through the flipflops and applesauce archives to bring you some of our favorite ways to celebrate. Enjoy!
read - with this fun version of Spin the Bottle.
create - these cool cuff bracelets
drink - fresh lemonade.
snack - on cool watermelon popsicles.
write - down your happy thoughts and doodles in a beautiful blank book.
play - a friendly game of sticker tag.

so ready for summer!!!!
Hi, It's me, Grammy (o: I wanted you to know I come by everyday. I guess I am one of those 'people' that don't always leave a comment. I love your blog and I love your little family and the way you parent. I think I fancy myself as your kind of mother back in the seventies. Playing and reading to the kids...when all the other mothers weren't necessarily doing that. We didn't have the same resources that moms have now ( I can't imagine how much fun it would have been to have all the fun crafts you show and the links to more). We had homemade play dough. Giant cardboard box cities. Tag in the park sprinklers. Free hotdogs at the local car dealership and things like that. We didn't own many kids books, but we sure had the library. I loved playing with my kids. Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blog.
I have to check out the spin the bottle book game! My daughter just discovered the joy of tag...she will flip for Sticker Tag!! Thanks! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :-)
We love making homemade popcicles! Love that you did this in images.
