Zoom by Istvan Banyai

This wordless book is fascinating. The first page has a picture of a red zigzag design. The next page zooms out and the red zigzag is the comb on top of a rooster's head. Each of the following pages zooms out further and further, ending with a view of Earth from space.

It's unexpected, very clever, and just as much fun for adults as kids.

This sounds neat. I'll check it out at my library. Thanks for the suggestion.

What a great book! I was completely amazed when I first saw it. Have you ever seen his second, Re-Zoom?

Hi, Being a book lover I always like to see your choices. I found a board book by Dr. Seuss this weekend at a garage sale. My Many Colored Days. It is very interesting. Do you have any ideas on a book to teach kids about stranger danger?
