The Pumpkin Patch

Nothing says "fall" like chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes and a dusty crowded pumpkin patch complete with pony rides, a hay maze, bounce house, train ride and Auntie Ellen. We're loving October, even if the temperature has barely dipped below 85.

The girls have been digging through their dress-up box, trying to decide what to wear on the 31st. The combinations have included high-heeled shoes, tutus, and swords. Who knows? Some pirates might have enjoyed ballet in their free time.

Happy October, friends!

They are so precious. I have to laugh at sleeveless tops in October. We had to bundle a bit more in Michigan. I'll trade ya! :)

Love the pumpkin patches and the great colorful pictures you can get at this season. Beautiful! And tell me, what do you find to put in their "dress-up" box? I remember having old lace curtains, etc. to have when I was a kid and always want to have a box like that for my granddaughter.

That looks like one heckuva trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Can't say ours is anything like yours. I was just lamenting to my hubby how we could do so much better than the local patch.

Thanks for sharing - glad to see you back a little more often!!!
