Visiting the Mission

Today we visited the Spanish mission in San Juan Capistrano. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I couldn't stop snapping pictures everywhere I turned. The architecture, the gardens, the wildlife. The California missions are such a fascinating {and sometimes tragic} part of our state's history.

We bought a year membership & it was only $13 more than our one-day admission. I can't wait to go back again!
