Let me first start of by saying that there are a few different sizes and color schemes available when it comes to Rimowa Limbo variations . I personally used the Rimowa Limbo 29” Multiwheel Upright variant, in a carbon like color as can be seen in the pictures. All of the variations are made from the same materials and have the same design and structure just in different sizes and colors. At the bottom of the article I will link some of the different options that are available. After using a host of different high end luggage myself, Rimowa was one that really stood out to my amongst the rest. This is my Rimowa Limbo Review!
Rimowa Limbo Review
First of when it comes to Rimowa all of their stuff in made and created in Germany and it is made from one of the best polycarbonates available. The frame is made from an aluminum magnesium material that not only is strong and durable but is also lightweight. Not only does this mean a great and supreme level of materials but it looks amazing and beautiful in person – it really stands out. The hinges look great too and are protected by feet if you are rest the case on its horizontal side.
When it comes to handles there are 3 on the bag. One on the top side which has a nice flex and comfort to it, the second handle is on the side as if it were a briefcase and finally one that extends by pressing a button which allows you to pull it along on the wheels would be the most typical use.
When it comes to the wheels they are top notch they have a rubber outing along with a plastic core. When it comes to using them, they are very easy to use because they can be moved in any direction make for very very easy maneuverability. Also, if you happen to break a wheel they can be easily detached and replaced which is ideal. There is also a strap that is built into the bag which allows you to strap on an additional bag or briefcase, and when you aren’t using it easily slides back in sort of like a car seatbelt.
There is also 2 TSA locks which makes for the utmost security that airport staff can easily access if need be. Each of the locks have a 3-combination lock which you can set yourself. In terms of locks this was the most impressive option that I have seen. It is one of the most difficult for someone to break into which is a massive plus when keeping your valuables as secure as possible is of most importance.
When it comes to the interior there are dividers which can be used to separate clothes – 2 in total. These dividers can be removed so you can make the most use of your space if you prefer.
While Rimowa is a higher price point that most typical suitcases you really get what you pay for, it’s like the Rolls Royce of luggage and you will immediately know once you try it out for yourself. This has been my Rimowa Limbo Review.
