It is one of the more powerful vacuums that I have used and that’s really why is works great on shag carpet.

Some of the vacuums I have used simply don’t have the suction power to pick up all the dust and grim in a thick shag carpet though you definitely won’t have that issue here. The second thing I like here is the design which makes for moving it around a breeze and it moves seamlessly even through shag carpet.
