We cut the pages out of an old calendar to make fun puzzles.
I drew lines on the back of the picture for the girls to cut along. Each puzzle had six pieces, which was just perfect for the girls' ability level. To gear this activity for older or younger children, simply cut the pictures into more or less pieces.
For storage, I cut out the smaller picture of each page from the back cover of the calendar. We used these mini pictures to label each envelope that would hold the corresponding puzzle.
The girls loved doing their puzzles again and again, and it kept them busy on a rainy afternoon!
