Today was one of those lovely days when there's nothing on schedule and very little on the "to do" list. We had a slow morning with chocolate chip pancakes and lots of laying around in our jammies.
And then the girls asked if we could go rock hunting. Hmmm...it's been about a 100 degrees or hotter around here. Couldn't we just go bowling or to the movies instead? Somewhere with temperature control?
But I'm so glad we went, because there were little surprises hiding everywhere. So many butterflies and dragonflies, tiny colorful blooms, lots of good conversation, and ice cream cones afterward. Good idea, girls!
