It's so nice to have a slow evening at home, with no meetings or commitments scheduled.
Sometimes it feels like these evenings are too few and far between.
When we do have an unplanned night like this, I usually make a simple dinner and then we play a game as a family.
Our favorite games right now are:

- Zingo
- Hullabaloo
- Don't Wake Daddy
- Hi Ho Cherry-O
- Elefun

I loved playing Hi ho cherry - o when i was a kid. twister and apple to apple are also fun games.
When time allows (whew!), that's exactly what we love to do after dinner as well! We enjoy Zingo and Hullabaloo also. Other really fun favorites are Cariboo, Uno Attack, and Sequence for Kids. Zimbos is also fun when we need a quick game before bedtime, and I must say that our two little girls do love to play Pretty Pretty Princess. ...I enjoy your new blog so much! It is completely right up my alley!
